Frequently Asked Questions

HOW DO I CHOOSE MY SIZE?

We recommend referring to the size guide provided on each product page before placing your order.

If you are between sizes or require additional fit advice, please contact our team and we will be happy to assist.

ARE THE HEELS COMFORTABLE?

Our platform construction helps distribute weight more evenly across the foot compared to traditional high heels. Combined with genuine leather uppers and a supportive footbed, the designs are intended to provide greater comfort and stability for extended wear.

WILL THE HEELS FEEL HEAVY?

The heels are crafted using chinaberry wood, chosen for its durability while remaining lighter than traditional solid wood bases. The platform shape also helps distribute weight more evenly across the foot, making them feel more stable and comfortable to wear throughout the day.

WHAT MAKES SÀIN DIFFERENT?

Each SÀIN style is handcrafted in small batches alongside local artisans in Saigon using genuine leather and custom-moulded wooden components developed across our full size range to achieve a more considered fit.

WHY DO SLIGHT VARIATIONS OCCUR BETWEEN PAIRS?

Each pair is handcrafted in small batches alongside local artisans in Saigon. We work with the natural grain and texture of chinaberry wood, meaning every pair carries its own subtle variations and character.

Due to the handmade nature of the process, slight differences in wood tone, grain pattern, stitching, finishing, or small markings may naturally occur between pairs. These details are not considered flaws, but part of the individuality and craftsmanship behind each piece.

DO YOU SHIP INTERNATIONALLY?

Yes. SÀIN ships worldwide from our Vietnam studio.

International orders may be subject to import duties, taxes, or customs charges depending on the destination country. These charges are determined by local authorities and remain the responsibility of the customer.

HOW SHOULD I CARE FOR MY SHOES?

We recommend storing your shoes in their dust bags away from direct sunlight and moisture. As wood and leather are natural materials, avoid prolonged exposure to water and abrasive surfaces.

To maintain the finish, gently wipe the wood and leather with a soft, dry cloth.
